Who we are

Grazing has shaped the North York Moors for generations. The North York Moors Graziers Group exists to keep that tradition alive by supporting the people, practices and knowledge that sustain this iconic landscape.

We are a network of graziers who work together to share experience, champion good practice and navigate the challenges of farming on common land. By collaborating on funding, training and practical problem‑solving, we help ensure that grazing remains viable, valued and visible in the future of the moors.

As a collective voice, we speak up for the role of grazing in biodiversity, heritage and rural livelihoods. As a community, we support one another, across generations, farms, and commons, to keep the North York Moors grazed, cared for and resilient.
