Ian Ford (Chair)

Ian farms at Moorfoot House in Glaisdale, where his family have been butcher-graziers since 1925. He keeps a flock of 165 Scottish Blackface ewes on Glaisdale Moor can be traced back over a century, along with a flock of field-based Texels. Ian retired after over 30 years of balancing butchering and his farming moved from a part-time to a full-time focus.

Amanda Smith (Secretary)

Amanda is a third generation dairy farmer based at Woodhead Farm in Fryupdale in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. With her husband, Mark, and 4 children, they milk 140 dairy cows with 140 followers, along with a small flock of Ryeland sheep. She is the secretary and administrator for the North York Moors Graziers Group.
